The second edition of the Barrier Free International Kite Festival (BFIKF) was conducted in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram – thereafter travelling to Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur – in an attempt to raise awareness around making public spaces disabled-friendly. A seven-day event, under a colourful sky of kites, for our children and individuals with disabilities, celebrating the joy of flying kites together. We had professional kite flyers from across 7 countries for the event.
