Helping Hands Organisation was started by a group of passionate individuals with different backgrounds who shared a strong commitment to societal change, particularly in the area of disability. We envisaged a world that is inclusive and accessible for all right from the start. With the objective of ensuring that no one is left behind, we have worked tirelessly to build support systems for children with disabilities and their families.
We are strong believers in scientific interventions and research backed activities. Our experience has cemented our belief that small steps can bring about significant changes when done consistently and over a sustained period of time. We are currently based at Hotaru Farmstead, an inclusive community where people can have conversations, carry out actions, express themselves, and engage in different initiatives to support our primary cause, disability. We provide a non-judgemental space where individuals are encouraged to express themselves in different avenues be it art, research, academics or nature-related activities.
Currently located on a sustainable farm, we practise the principles of the One Health approach on a daily basis. We are eager to scale the balancing and optimisation of the health of individuals, animals, and ecosystems.
This is our effort to bring about lasting, positive change. To meet our ambitious vision of an inclusive and accessible world, we require the support of individuals from different backgrounds including students, the youth, corporate professionals, policy practitioners, and academics.
