Barrier Free Carbon Neutral Zone

The Barrier Free Carbon Neutral Zone (BFCNZ), is H2O’s flagship initiative in addressing the disproportionate impacts of the climate crisis on individuals with disabilities. With the support of Finastra, we have set up an inclusive zone that is accessible for everyone. The Oxy-Bamboo, a tissue-cultured bamboo variety, serves as the mainstay of the zone as it helps nearly neutralise the carbon footprint of one person, per plant, per year. In addition to ensuring carbon neutrality, the zone is also rich in terms of biodiversity as it is home to indigenous types of flowering, herbal, vegetable, and fruit plants.
